Carolina Container Expansion Continues With Phase II Underway

Hickory, North Carolina – TAYLOR was awarded the Construction Management contract for Carolina Container in the Town of Hickory. TAYLOR is partnering with Greater Living Architecture for the multi-phased project located at 61 30th St. NW, Hickory, North Carolina. Phase 1 included the initial building repairs and site stabilization, that were completed in 2024, while Phase 2 includes a building expansion and addition, with anticipated completion in 2026.

As part of Phase 2, TAYLOR will be managing the site and building addition such as a 15,600-square-foot loading dock area. This phase will be accomplished while Carolina Container maintains full production for their thriving customers. As part of Phase 1, TAYLOR managed replacement of the 160,000-square-foot roof and drainage system on buildings A and B; site storm improvements on the 17+ acre site such as mobilization SWPP & erosion control measures, earth work, storm piping installations, relocating existing utilities (in preparation for future additions), paving/hardscapes, and rail line rework and upgrades.

TAYLOR continues to increase its specific experience of building and expanding industrial facilities nationwide. In addition to the current project in North Carolina, as well as another ongoing project in Indianapolis, Indiana, TAYLOR has completed a wide range of renovations and new construction projects in New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, Texas, and California.
